Today, brilliant Anthony inspired me to write this text through a correspondence on Notes. Anthony is a great friend at Substack who inspires and encourages me with his wisdom, experience, and kindness.
I will explain my thoughts in more detail in this text.
Anthony
Getting up each day living based upon doing things primarily because it's a requirement & not a choice is how most people operate! I'm afraid external pressures force that lifestyle! That's why we feel captive by them!
Your thoughts?
This is absolutely true in most cases. And it's exhausting!
This happens because we have fundamentally "disconnected" ourselves from ourselves.
Most people live "out of the head" and rarely descend into the heart or solar plexus, where our identity resides. The result is "keeping your head above water." They swim through life, not thinking about where they are going. They have a goal so that they don't drown.
This happens because they have stopped communicating with themselves; they are just completing tasks.
Through my coaching practice, I discovered that talking to themselves is the most challenging thing for people. They are ready to describe the details of their problem at length and talk about other people and circumstances, even their mistakes, but when they need to tell themselves the truth (a black spot), there are many obstacles in that part.
Some people talk around, circle, and escape from the essence because they are afraid to tell themselves their profound truths.
Various fears appear here, and many people can't finish this conversation without professional guidance. They interrupt the conversation when it is most important when they need to tell themselves the most important truths.
This is actually the fear of passing "under their shadow," the fear of facing the programs that create their life. That fear is the main reason people are disconnected from themselves.
Because of this fear, they gave up "ownership" of their lives.
Very few people get this right. These people are highly successful and satisfied with their lives, and their contributions to the world are often significant!
The fastest way to take back ownership of your life is to tell yourself the truth faster!
Anthony
I think many find it easier living that way because they can use it as an excuse for not taking responsibility! They get so caught up that they may not even realize it! Then their boat sinks due to taking in too much water! That, to me, is sad!
Yes, it's sad, I agree with you.
From practice, I know many people are unaware that their first responsibility is to feel good.
People think they are responsible for providing financial security and care for health, family, education, career, etc. This is why they are focused on completing tasks and making results. However, these results directly depend on how we feel.
We can't have great results if we feel miserable.
People try to make good results to feel good. It's upside down; it doesn't work that way. We have to feel good to have good results.
Therefore, our first and primary responsibility is to manage our energy well.
The next big problem is some people have a need to live the role of "victim." (this is a big topic)
Anthony
Yes, well put. Playing the role of the victim! Too many are victims of the "fire they started themselves!"
That's right! Many people fear losing more (love, affection, attention, support, etc.) than they will gain if they leave their victim role.
They are often unaware of their control drama - "poor me."
Still, even when they become aware, many people do not dare to give it up for their secondary gain - the idea that they will be loved, respected, supported, etc., only if they stay in that role.
Anthony
Yes, it's like a security blanket to them!
From task to task, life passes fast. Of course, it's nice to have results in our life. However, we must have a life, our life, in the first place.
So, let's manage our energy and emotions appropriately, open our vision, and then results will be a natural part of our journey.
Take a long, deep breath, inhale your own life, and exhale everything you no longer need.
Tell yourself the truth faster and return your leadership in your life!
Thank you Anthony!
We are basically trained to be this way from early childhood. To learn and achieve. To conform. The pressures are tremendous. But what would be the alternative? Could we be enlightened savages if we didn't conform and "make a living"? The mind boggles.
Valid! Particularly that we offer our best when it stems from within through emotions!
